TAYLOR-ALEXIS DUPONT

A grand prize winner of the 2023 Lotte Lenya Competition,

Taylor-Alexis DuPont will be engaged with Hawai'i Opera Theatre's production of The Riot Grrrl on Mars,

a Sci-Fi reimagining of Rossini's L'italiana in Algeri as the Title Role.

 

In previous seasons, she has been praised by the Charleston City Paper for her portrayal as Hannah in the world premiere of Spoleto Festival's Ruinous Gods "displaying gorgeous gravitas", and hailed by the Washington Post as a singer with a "beautifully rich and spirited" voice in her Washington National Opera debut in The Passion of Mary Cardwell Dawson.
